We provide the Reader's Bible here without chapter numbers, verse numbers, or references (with option to toggle on/off).
Type a reference (like Gen 3:15 or Gen 4-7) to read a passage, or a word or phrase (like grace) to search every verse that contains it.
Pick a ready-made plan below, or build your own: choose how many weeks you want it to take and what order to read the books in, and this will lay out a day-by-day chart that divides every chapter evenly across those weeks. Click any day to read it; a "Mark as read" button there will cross it off here too, and your plan and progress are remembered in this browser the next time you visit. This is a JavaScript version of the reading-plan-generator spreadsheet; see the 3-letter book abbreviation key for the full book names the codes in the chart represent.
Add a verse or short passage, then practice it as a flashcard: see the reference, try to recite it from memory, reveal the text, and rate yourself Solid, Shaky, or Gone.
Solid verses come back for review after about a year and Shaky ones after about a week, so nothing you've rated is ever set aside for good. Practice across every pack at once, or just the one selected below, and switch between a Scheduled queue (what's due today) and Freestyle (everything, shuffled) depending on what you need. A Scheduled queue can also be capped to a daily target — the most overdue verses fill the first however-many slots, and the exact list is shown before you start. Verses are grouped into packs — pick or make one below to add into.
These verses live only in this browser. To carry them to another device,
export a plain text file: one reference per line, e.g. John
3:16, with # Pack: Name lines marking where each pack
starts. Save it anywhere you like (Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox, email
to yourself), then import that same file on the other device. A
hand-written list works too, with or without the status or pack lines;
a plain list imports into whichever pack is selected above.
Just starting out? to add the Navigators’ classic Topical Memory System — Pack I, Pack II, and Pack III — as three ready-made packs.
Pack I, Pack II, and Pack III are the Navigators’ classic Topical Memory System — see the topic behind each verse.
