KJV Errata
- Most brazen error, not a translation error. Acts 12:4 "Easter"
should be "Passover". Used 29 times in NT 28, times translated
"Passover".
- 1 John 3:8,9 should be continual action.
- Matthew 28:18 should be "age" not "world".
- Matthew 20:28 should be servant and slave, not minister and servant.
- Matthew 28:2 should be "an" angel.
- 2 Cor 6:6,7 prepositions should be "through" armor
- Matthew 13 should be kingdom of the heavens
- II Cor. 10:10 Last phrase is "his word nothing"
- I Peter 3:6 Amazement is terror. But this could
be a change in the meaning of the word.
- Joshua 24:2,3 not "flood" but "river"
- Matthew 16:22 "Pity yourself, Lord"
- Phil 4:5 not moderation, but gentleness.
- Luke 23:44 should be land, not earth (several places)
- Luke 10:19 authority to tread
- I Peter 3:1 without "a" word
- II Peter 1:1 Our God and Saviour
- II Peter 1:21 "at any time"
- Matthew 13:39 age not world
- Romans 4:25 "BECAUSE OF our justification."
- 1 Thes 4:6 "in the (this) matter"
