KJV Errata

  1. Most brazen error, not a translation error. Acts 12:4 "Easter" should be "Passover". Used 29 times in NT 28, times translated "Passover".
  2. 1 John 3:8,9 should be continual action.
  3. Matthew 28:18 should be "age" not "world".
  4. Matthew 20:28 should be servant and slave, not minister and servant.
  5. Matthew 28:2 should be "an" angel.
  6. 2 Cor 6:6,7 prepositions should be "through" armor
  7. Matthew 13 should be kingdom of the heavens
  8. II Cor. 10:10 Last phrase is "his word nothing"
  9. I Peter 3:6 Amazement is terror. But this could be a change in the meaning of the word.
  10. Joshua 24:2,3 not "flood" but "river"
  11. Matthew 16:22 "Pity yourself, Lord"
  12. Phil 4:5 not moderation, but gentleness.
  13. Luke 23:44 should be land, not earth (several places)
  14. Luke 10:19 authority to tread
  15. I Peter 3:1 without "a" word
  16. II Peter 1:1 Our God and Saviour
  17. II Peter 1:21 "at any time"
  18. Matthew 13:39 age not world
  19. Romans 4:25 "BECAUSE OF our justification."
  20. 1 Thes 4:6 "in the (this) matter"
