Do you have the Holy Spirit?Note, this article is part of a topical study series.
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit,
if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Romans 8:9 Do you have the Holy Spirit? If you do not then you are not a child of God. If you do have the Spirit, how do you know? Is it by a feeling? Or do you know by the Word of God? Let's see what God's word says:
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus....
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Galatians 3:26,4:6
In the last day, that great day of the feast,
Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
