John 14:18 "teaches" and "guides" believers in all truth
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,
whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come,
he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. John 16:13 the only Teacher we need
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you,
and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 1 John 2:27 gives us power
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:
and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8
strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power,
unto all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness; Colossians 1:11 reproves the world
And when he is come, he will reprove the world
of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: John 16:8 always with us
I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Hebrews 13:5c
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter,
that he may abide with you for ever; John 14:16 helps us to say "no"
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Titus 2:11-12 gives spiritual life
And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin;
but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans 8:10-11 seals believers
In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed,
ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Ephesians 1:13-14
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God,
whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30 |
