Dear Jenny, I wish I could tell you what is in my heart. But I fear I say anything, lest you hate me even more. But if I could only try, I would tell you that I love you: and even if I could never talk to you again, I still love you. and even if you hate me for the rest of my life, I still love you. and even if you remarried or loved another, I still love you. and even if you don't want to ever think of me again, I still love you. I would not know love except that God first loved me. Not that I loved God, but that He loved me, and sent His Son to pay the price for my sins, and for yours too. and He calls me to love as He loved, and to love my wife as He loves the Church. Though I was conceived in sin, and born in enmity against God, God never ceased to love me, and to lay down His life for me, and for the entire world. And He has been a witness between me and the wife of my youth. And He instructs me that you are the wife of my covenant, and that I must never deal treacherously with you. That I must continue to love you as Christ loved the Church. And I cannot and will not cease to love you, and to pray for you daily. And to look for ways that I might continue to love you in word and in deed. Love suffers long Love bears all things Love believes all things Love hopes all things Love endures all things Love never fails. In the name of Jesus Christ, return to me and be my wife. And let us serve God together with all our hearts, for the one reason that it may glorify Him, and that it may be well with our souls. Love always, wes
